New England Language Academy (NELA) connects students in the United States with native Spanish-speaking teachers who live in Latin America.

We focus on live online classes that make language learning dynamic and personal. Throughout the year, we also offer in-person workshops and cultural seminars that bring students and teachers together to share real experiences and practice Spanish face to face.

Our approach is based on Total Physical Response (TPR) — learning through movement, listening, and interaction — helping students understand and speak Spanish naturally and with confidence.

Our teachers bring their culture, energy, and real-life Spanish into every class. Learning with NELA means learning with people — not textbooks.

At NELA, language is not taught. It’s lived.
